UTAH HISPANIC BUSINESS LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria:  Applicant must be enrolled in high school and be a resident of Utah and of Hispanic/Latino descent. Applicant must have demonstrated leadership in school, community and/or other service organizations that promote, enhance or strengthen diversity.  Applicant must also demonstrate financial need and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.  All scholarship winners must attend Holiday Gala on November 19, 2010 to receive the scholarship award.

AYN RAND’S NOVEL
Criteria: Entrant must be enrolled in 12th grade or a college degree program at the time of entry.  Write an essay on a choice of three specified topics after reading Atlas Shrugged.

ANY COLLEGE.COM SCHOLARSHIP DRAWING
Criteria: Students register for a scholarship drawing on the anycollege.com website.  On this website students can search for colleges based on academic majors, sports, or location.  All high school students are eligible to enter. The drawings will be held four times a year.
Amount: $2,000.00
Deadline: September 30, December 31, March 31, and June 30.  The scholarship drawings will be held on the first business day after the application deadline.

AMERICAN FIRE SPRINKLER ASSOCIATION ONLINE SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)
Criteria: Open to high school seniors who are U.S. citizens and who plan to further their education at a college, university or trade school.  Applicants must read the “Fire Sprinkler Essay” about automatic fire sprinklers and take a ten-question multiple-choice test.  For each question answered correctly, students will receive one entry into a drawing for one of 10 scholarships.  A total of 10 entries into the drawing are possible.  Students are allowed only one opportunity to take the online test.
Amount: $2,000.00 (a total of $20,000.00 will be awarded)
Deadline: Entries will be accepted from 12:00 p.m. (noon) CDT September 1 until 12:00 p.m. (noon) CDT April 5.

Criteria: Seniors: Scholarship designed to help lower income students gain access to a higher education. Up to 50 percent will be targeted to ethnic minority or disabled students.
