Crimcheck Criminal Justice Scholarship

Deadline: August 1, 2022   Amount: $500

  • Students who are currently enrolled in post-secondary education or high school seniors/recent high school graduates who are pursuing post-secondary education in the criminal justice field
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be full time or part time student enrolled in classes for the current year

College is Power Scholarship

Deadline: August 31, 2022   Amount: $1000

  • Students who are currently enrolled in post-secondary education or high school seniors/recent high school graduates who are pursuing post-secondary education in the criminal justice field
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be full time or part time student enrolled in classes for the current year

Cameron Impact Scholarship

Deadline: September 9, 2022 at 12pm (Noon) PT     Amount: Four years full tuition, fees, and books
  • Maintain a minimum, cumulative, unweighted GPA of a 3.7/4.0 scale or equivalent in their high school studies;
  • Be a full citizen of the United States of America;
  • Be in the high school graduating Class of 2023, planning to enroll in a full-time course of study towards a degree at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university for the full academic year following high school graduation;
  • Show proven excellence in extracurricular activities, be motivated leaders with a strong work ethic, demonstrate active participation in community service and/or civic minded arenas; and
  • Submit the following three components by the Application Deadline:
    • Online Application;
    • Two required Letters of Recommendation; and
    • Transcript certifying academic performance.

Westlake Sterling Scholar Award

Deadline: September 9, 2022 by 3 pm     Amount: Varies

  • A Sterling Scholar is a high school senior who is publicly recognized and awarded for the pursuit of excellence in scholarship, leadership and citizenship in the State of Utah.
  • Applicants must be Utah public high school seniors and must be nominated by their schools in one of 14 categories.
  • Selection is based on scholarship (50 percent), leadership (25 percent) and community service/citizenship (25 percent).

Express VPN Future of Privacy Scholarship

Deadline: September 15, 2022     Amount: $5000
  • Applicant must submit an essay between 600 to 800 words long that answers the prompt: If you were writing the rules for the metaverse, how would you ensure it were free, open, and safe?
  • Essays must be written in English.
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in either a high school, undergraduate school, or graduate school.
  • There is no age or citizenship requirement.
  • Essays must be sent via email only, to this address: [email protected]

The Gates Scholarship

Deadline: September 15, 2022  5 pm PT    Amount: Up to full cost of attendance (tution, fees, books, room & board)
  • A high school senior
  • From at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
  • Pell-eligible
  • A US citizen, national, or permanent resident
  • In good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)

Additionally, a student must plan to enroll full-time, in a four-year degree program, at a US accredited, not-for-profit, private or public college or university.

We the Future Scholarship Contest

Deadline: September 17, 2022     Amount: $1000
  • The High School Contest is open to all United States citizens or legal residents who are students in grades 9-12 and are 14 to 19 years old at the time of entry, attending public, private, religious, home school programs, and charter schools.
  • Students must attend school in one of the 50 States, District of Columbia, all U.S. Territories, or American Armed Forces Schools abroad.
  • High School Students may submit the following: Essay, Song, STEM, Short film, or PSA. All entries that utilize copyrighted music, film clips, or photos MUST obtain the proper licensing permissions IN ADVANCE of submitting the entry, in order to be considered.

Circled In “No Sweat” Scholarship

Deadline: September 30, 2022     Amount: $2500
  • Open to all students 8-12th grade
  • Create a FREE Student Cirkled In account
  • Increase your chances of winning by completing your portfolio
  • No minimum GPA, no essay, no income requirements

Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship

Deadline: September 30, 2022    Amount: $1000
  • Must be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or entering college or graduate school student of any level. Home schooled students are also eligible. There is no age limit.
  • You must also be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
  • Must complete the application form including a 140-character message about texting while driving.
  • The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists. The finalists will be asked to write a full length 500- to 1,000-word essay about texting while driving.
