Why an App?
Crisis can affect anyone at any time. At some point in their lives, most people will need emotional support or referral assistance. If you can connect with someone who cares about you during a crisis, the risk of harming yourself or others decreases greatly.
People often feel more comfortable talking to someone they don’t know during a stressful time. Talking to someone who isn’t directly involved allows people to discuss feelings and concerns in a way that might be different from talking with friends and family members.
Text lines are confidential, free, and available to anyone at any time. For these reasons, users find text lines extremely helpful.
Our licensed staff are available 24/7/365. We help you discover skills and resources you can use to solve your problem and feel better.
